First Sunday of Advent (2014)

Greetings all.

I wish you a very happy and joyous Christmas Holiday season. This is the greatest time of the year. Why you ask?

Well, there are several reasons and one is the Christmas magic. We start our dive towards Christmas by celebrating the first day of Advent. With that race towards Christmas we will share with others the magic of:
• St. Nicholas Day (Saturday, December 6)
• St.Lucia Day (Saturday, December 13)
• Hanukkah (Wednesday, December 17 - Wednesday, December 24)
• Christmas Eve (Wednesday, December 24)
• Christmas (Thursday, December 25)



I will write throughout the Christmas season but in the meantime, please have a Fantastic Advent. Enjoy your time with family and friends. Most of all, just be happy.

SPANDAU GUARD is a story set in December 1979 at the notorious Spandau Prison in West Berlin, Germany during the Cold War. Soviet Forces occupy East Berlin and East Germany. The British, French and Americans occupy West Berlin.

U.S. Army Infantryman Alfredo Ledesma along with his fellow soldiers, struggle through the 31-day rotation of boredom, cold Berlin nights, and the holiday season they can only see and enjoy from afar.

As the month of Spandau Guard duty progresses, some strange things start to happen, especially at Guard Tower 3, until they come to a head on Christmas Eve. A very interesting changeover with the Soviets, on December 1st, sets the basis for a story that reaches back to the very early days of the Third Reich.

Spandau Prison is home to the last of the Spandau 7; the seven convicted World War II war criminals (Konstantin von Neurath, Erich Raeder, Karl Dönitz, Walther Funk, Albert Speer, Baldur von Schirach, and Rudolf Hess) that were sentenced to spend between 10 years to life at the prison.
December, along with April and August, are also the months the United States Army in Berlin is in charge of guarding Spandau prison.

Spandau Guard: 03 Nov 2014 Update

Greetings everyone,
I want to thank you for your patience and it looks like everything is under control and SPANDAU GUARD is back in stock at Amazon.com.

However, we are still not sure why the book has not re-appeared on Barnes & Noble dot com. We're going to give it a couple more days to see if it isn't some kind of database propagation issue. Then if by then end of the week it still isn't showing I will start inquiring.

Also, I want to take this time to announce on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2014, SPANDAU GUARD will be available on Amazon KINDLE and Barnes & Noble NOOK.
